An ink and wash study of this busy and vibrant city.
Studying the Human Form is fundamental practice for all students of Art at any stage of development. This ten week course will provide the opportunity for observational study, providing guidance on human proportions, measuring and tonal depth.
Enrolments are now open for this popular class at Penarth Pier Pavilion. During the ten week course we will cover techniques that will provide greater understanding of perspective, tonal recession, colour mixing and brush handling, whilst studying the work of professional Artists and producing your own folio of work. Bookings are made at the Pavilion…
Join me on Saturday 17th September, 3.00-5.00, for the Private view of the new exhibition at Boundary Gallery, Cardiff Bay. I have my latest Welsh mountain paintings, inspired not only by the Welsh countryside, but also from studying the Artwork in the National Museum of Wales.
I have started to explore painting the Arctic in oils, using my watercolour studies and memories of this special place.
Serenity abounds in the peaceful waters of the Arctic Circle.
A mysterious land of majestic mountains.
